An Inspiringly Sustainable Introduction

Greetings all!

In a world where plastic pollution is at an all-time high, I decided to create what is essentially an account of my attempt at living a sustainable lifestyle. While my attempt will in no means be perfect, I will demonstrate small, everyday changes which can be implemented towards our global sustainability plight. Small, everyday actions which might seem insignificant alone but when combined with the similar actions of others, can result in a positive impact on the environment and our world.

Examples of such actions include simply choosing environmentally friendly alternatives to plastic-based products, being aware of the amount of waste produced in everyday life and choosing to buy local foods when stocking up on groceries for the week. I’ll write about biodegradable alternatives to everyday products and I will review these products so that readers can get an idea of what products are available on the market and the quality of these products.

Documentaries about our impact on this earth will also be a prominent feature of this blog. I’ll discuss environmental news stories which will aim to keep readers updated on related topics and what is being done to bring about change on a national and global level.

By adopting even small changes in our daily activities, we can not only have a positive impact on the environment but we can also change our lives, the lives of the living creatures that we share this planet with and the lives of future generations.

So join me in my quest to successfully implement small changes in my everyday life which will result in a more sustainable lifestyle overall and a reduced carbon footprint.

As Robert Swan once said: “The greatest threat to our planet is the belief that someone else will save it.”

Well said Robert.
